1. Return Policy
Returns to The Registry must be made within 30 days of purchase and must be accompanied by receipt. Only the credit card used in the transaction will be credited. After 30 days, you will receive in-store credit. Wedding gifts must be returned within 60 days of the date of the wedding, and only store credit will be issued. Gifts being returned must be packed in a box to protect the merchandise. Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issue. Only items purchased from The Registry may be returned or exchanged. It is suggested that brides wishing to exchange gifts make an appointment. Monogrammed items and special order items may NOT be returned.
2. Customer Service
The staff of The Registry is trained and ready to assist you in making choices in fine china, sterling silver, crystal, and everyday tableware. We also welcome mixing new patterns with what you already have. Though appointments are preferred, bridal and gift registry are always available. Monogrammed items, i.e. fine china, will be ordered once a faxed, signed contract has been received. Any monogrammed item or special order item may NOT be returned. Monogrammed china is ordered in lots of 4 or 6, depending on the vendor. By signing the contract, you are responsible for payment of any remaining pieces that are unsold. You have a year from the date of the wedding to complete this purchase. We encourage you to make these purchases punctually to avoid incompletion of your china set due to annual pattern alterations, discontinuation, etc. All instock orders are processed and shipped within four to five business days. We will notify you via email within one business day if you order is out of stock. Shipping is available via UPS. Standard rates apply. We will wrap your purchase at no charge. 3. Prices and Availability
Prices and availability are subject to change. Because vendors discontinue patterns with little notice, The Registry cannot guarantee the availability of any pattern. We encourage brides to complete their patterns within a year to avoid incompletion.
4. Shipping
Shipping to the continental United States is available via UPS. Cost of shipping is determined by weight, value, destination and date of delivery. All items shipped are insured for their total value. Should your purchase arrive damaged, PLEASE keep the damaged merchandise, the packing materials and shipping box for 5 business days. Call 615-595-2323 to notify us of the damage. UPS may inspect the breakage, and The Registry will issue a replacement item. UPS World Ship Online is the service used. Sales tax is automatically applied to your Registry order in accordance with Tennessee state regulations. If your shipping address is located outside of Tennessee, then no sales tax will be applied. Standard shipping arrives 5-7 business days from date of processing. If it is absolutely critical that your package arrive by a specific date, contact us at 615-595-2323. Our hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 10 a. m. until 5 p. m.. Because we do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday, orders placed online will not be shipped out until Monday. Any orders placed after 2 p.m. on any weekday will not be processed until the following day. Oversized items are subject to delay in shipping and excess shipping cost. The Registry is committed to offering our customers security when purchasing online. We collect information from you online when you purchase merchandise through our website or when you register online. You will be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information such as your name, billing address, email address, telephone numbers, credit card number and shipping information (name and address for shipping if it differs from your billing address). We do not share your information with anyone outside of the company. Your personal information is collected and used in limited ways. We use the information to complete transactions, to track and verify orders, to send you information about promotional or special offers and to respond to your inquiries. We share your information with certain third parties, such as processors of credit card transactions, who help us perform the functions, just described. We do not share your personally identifiable information with other third parties, with certain exceptions. We may share information when we are legally required to do so, such as in the case of an investigation, legal process, or other legal proceedings.
